Join us the first Thursday in the month to celebrate the traditional good cheer, customs and entertainment associated with the great British pub. You can look forward to an old-fashioned menu - prepared by our illustrious head chef, Richard Reddaway - full of all your favourite classics like game soup, toad in the hole, beef stew, shepherd's pie and, of course, spotted dick and custard will all be freshly prepared on the night. There will also be the chance for you to vote on a brand new main course to appear on the following months menu.
But the food is just the start. There will be a delicious guest ales on offer and you can take a trip down memory lane playing games like Shove Ha'penny, Ringing The Bull, Devil Amongst The Tailors and Hood Skittles. You can also challenge your friends to a game of chess, draughts, dominoes or crib.
So make sure you join us and raise a glass in honour of all things British!

If you like seafood, you'll love Wednesday nights at the Mariners Restaurant. Join us for a very special menu featuring the finest, freshest and simply most tantalising fish dishes you will ever indulge in.
Richard Reddaway - our head chef - has cooked throughout the South West of England for his entire celebrated career and is an expert in capturing the essence and flavour of the local produce - particularly the fruits of the sea. His years of experience and passion are all perfectly distilled and showcased on the menu, and a visit to the restaurant will leave you wondering just one thing: who to bring with you on your next visit!
